Fitovo is operated by Levent Celik. This policy explains how the Fitovo iOS app handles information. Fitovo is intended for people age 13 and older.

Data Fitovo stores

Sign in with Apple and Amazon Cognito authenticate your account. Fitovo stores your account identifier, profile, Circle membership and invitations on AWS in Ireland. In the current version, onboarding choices and daily quest history remain on your device, separate from the snapshots you explicitly upload. A cloud-progress feature will explain its transfer before enabling it.

Optional health and location uploads

With your iOS permission, Fitovo can read daily steps and walking/running distance from Apple Health. Selecting activity and tapping Sync my data sends the daily summary to your account for your movement plan. Missing data is omitted. Selecting location sends one point rounded to two decimal places. This flow does not continuously track your background location. Reading device data and consenting to cloud upload are separate choices.

Profile photos and notifications

You can choose, crop and explicitly save a profile photo. Fitovo optimizes it and removes image metadata before storing one private avatar in Amazon S3. Saving another photo replaces it. The current API only returns your own avatar. Registered device endpoints allow AWS and Apple Push Notification service to deliver account and Circle notifications. These flows do not automatically share health, location or your photo with Circle or Instagram.

Advertising and security

Fitovo does not use advertising trackers, sell health data or use health data for advertising. AWS processes service requests and account data for Fitovo. Operational services may process connection information needed to run and secure the service. Do not send sensitive information to our support email.

Subscriptions and Apple services

Apple processes App Store purchases, billing details, refunds, offer eligibility, and subscription management under Apple's terms and privacy practices. Fitovo requests product information and checks verified StoreKit entitlement status to show subscription options and unlock Premium. We do not receive payment-card details.

Connectivity and deletion

Daily activity snapshots expire after 90 days and the latest approximate location after 24 hours. Database cleanup is asynchronous and backups may retain earlier copies temporarily. Profiles, memberships and the avatar have no automatic expiry. Deleting the app does not delete AWS account data. You can change iOS permissions in Settings and skip optional uploads. Apple separately controls purchase history and subscription cancellation.

When you visit this public policy or support site, its hosting provider may process ordinary connection information such as an IP address and browser request under its own privacy terms.
